Clasifi is the DIY bookkeeping app built by an accountant, specifically for Schedule C filers (small business owners, freelancers, independent contractors, side hustlers, and anyone who gets a 1099). Upload your bank statement, let AI handle the rest, and have tax-ready books in minutes. Doing what a bookkeeper charges $200+ a month to do. Prefer to keep your data 100% private? Our CSV-only plan never touches an AI server.
Powerful enough to satisfy a CPA.
Simple enough for everyone else.

Some tools are built for accountants. Others are built for businesses with complex accounting needs. None of them were built for the 27 million self-employed Americans who file a Schedule C (small business owners, self-employed, independent contractors, side hustlers, freelancers, anyone who gets a 1099) and can't justify hiring a bookkeeper, but still need their books done right.
No bloat. No features you'll never use. Just clean, accurate books that your tax preparer will love.
Not everyone wants AI touching their books. Not everyone wants bank linking. We built three plans because we believe you should be in control of exactly how much technology is involved, and how much privacy you keep.
"I built Clasifi because I kept watching my clients struggle with tools that weren't built for them. Every other product was made by a tech founder who hired accountants. I am the accountant."
Dana Sebren, Founder of Clasifi
Dana didn't just study accounting. She started doing bookkeeping work while still in college, earning her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with advanced coursework in Internal Auditing from LSU. After graduating, she went straight to Deloitte, one of the world's Big Four accounting firms, where she audited the books of Fortune 500 companies on an international stage.
That experience gave Dana a rare perspective: she's seen what world-class financial reporting looks like at the highest level. After Deloitte, she spent several years inside a CPA firm doing tax work, which means she doesn't just know bookkeeping. She knows exactly what tax preparers need from your books.
Dana then co-founded her first business, an independent insurance agency built from scratch and sold for seven figures, which means she has lived the self-employed life herself. She knows the stress, the confusion, and the cost of keeping books as a self-employed business owner.
Today she actively runs The Bookkeeping HQ, serving clients from San Diego to Europe with businesses ranging from $100K to $15 million in annual revenue. Clasifi is not a side project. It's the tool she built because her own clients needed it.
Dana has spent 18+ years in accounting. She's worked at Deloitte, inside CPA firms, and built her own bookkeeping practice serving business owners from coast to coast. Along the way, she kept having the same conversation over and over, with business owners who needed help with their books but didn't need a full-time bookkeeper.
Some hired her. Many didn't. Not because they couldn't find someone good, but because hiring a professional bookkeeper for a one-person business just didn't make sense. They needed something in between: more than a spreadsheet, less than an accountant on retainer.
When AI started changing everything, Dana didn't just see a threat to her business. She saw the solution she'd been waiting for. She knew exactly what the output needed to look like: tax-ready books, clean categories, a year-end package CPAs would actually appreciate. She just needed a way to build it.
"I knew what good books looked like. I needed to build something that got anyone there, even someone who wants nothing to do with accounting."
Dana Sebren, FounderSo she partnered with her husband to build it. He brought one critical perspective to the table: he hates accounting. Doesn't want to think about it, doesn't want to learn it, just wants it done. That tension between Dana's 18 years of accounting expertise and someone who would rather do anything else is exactly what shaped Clasifi into what it is.
Every feature had to pass two tests. Dana's test: is this actually correct? Her husband's test: would a normal person actually use this? If it failed either one, it got rebuilt.
The result is a bookkeeping tool that functions the way accounting software should, but feels nothing like accounting software. No jargon. No 47-step setup. No calling your CPA to ask what a "chart of accounts" is.
Powerful enough to satisfy a CPA. Simple enough for everyone else. That's Clasifi.
